Quality lots sold very well at the Autumn Society Sale at H & H Borderway Market on Friday 9th November. Judged by Mr John Maxwell of Jaw Farm, Fintry, Glasgow (Jaw Herd) Topping the trade at 4700gns was Chestermann Carlisle from N & N Gwynne, Castlewigg Farm, Newton Stewart (Chestermann Herd) this Blackford Ringleader son out of a Camus Brandy daughter.

Next best at 4400gns was the Overall Champion from B T & M C Raymond, Ben-Nant Cedric, by Dovefields Gallant and out of a Corskie Norman daughter being sold to W H Widdicombe (Starline Herd) for 4400gns.

Next best was 3900gns for Rosten Cheyenne from Mr W Heaps & Mrs C Heaps, Derbyshires Farm,Chorley, Lancashire (Rosten Herd) selling to Sandy McDowell Newton Stewart. 15 bulls sold to an average of £3427.50

Chestermann Ringleader Mirander 3 Female Champion

Topping the female trade at 3500gns was Chestermann Ringleader Mirander 3 , a Blackford Ringleader daughter, next best at 3100gns was the Female Champion from Pasturefields Livestock. Pasturehouse Princess 5th an ET daughter of Gretna House Supersonic, selling to Gerald Towers, Turners Arms Farms, Redcar, Cleveland. Females averaged £2499.00
