For the second successive year the female trade led the way
at the Bristol Autumn Sale with the top call on the day being
3600gns for Greenfields Astra, a Corskie Pilot daughter with
Brinkton Brilliant on the dams side. She had earlier been crowned
the Female Champion from Mr G Green, Kibworth, Beauchamp, Leicestershire.

Mr Green also took the second top call of 2700gns with the
Reserve Female Champion Greenfields Agatha. Agatha a Brigstock
Samson daughter and granddaughter of Curlieu Knight.

A packed ringside ensured a 70% clearance of handy Commercial
bulls bid to a top price of 2400gns for Sway Bravo the Reserve
Male Champion, Bravo a polled bull by Sway Vinney and with
Curlieu Knight on his dams side from Mr & Mrs S.L. Blomfield,
The Bungalow, Kings Lane Sway, Lynington, Hampshire.

Next best was Taurus Buccaneer, a Celtic Rock son going back
to Starline Prefect on the dams side selling to 2300gns from
