The Simmental Society Show
and Sale saw a good entry of bulls with some real quality on
show. The Champion beast was from Mr & Mrs P. Lovatt for
a very smart bull selling to 2,800 guineas and was purchased
by Mr P.R. Bufton of Cwn Cefn-y-Gaer of Llandrindod Wells.
Another notable bull sold to
1250 guineas for a bull from Mr K.H. Evans and was
purchased by Mr K. Warburton. A 90% clearance of all bulls was
reported.
