chairman Pat Kelly said:”It gives me great pleasure to
present this cheque to Dr Carole Cairns from the Haematology
Unit at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
“On behalf of the club a big thank you to everyone who
supported our BBQ, donated items for the auction and the prizes
for the ballot, and bought tickets for our raffle. Our committee
members have worked tirelessly over the summer months to make
the event a huge success. Thanks also to club members Patsy and
Kate McDonald from Tempo who organised the raffle.”
Dr Carole Cairns from the Haematology Unit at the Royal Belfast
Hospital for Sick Children said:”I am overwhelmed at the
club’s generosity, thank you very, very much. This is a
fantastic amount of money and I would like to thank everyone
to contributed to the fund raising efforts.
“I know it takes a lot of hard work to raise £7,500
and I would like to thank the NI Simmental Cattle Breeders’ Club
