Sunday 31st August - Farm Walk by kind permission of Pete Burgess and Bill Adams
Meet at - Bill Adams, Springfield Farm, Banbury Road, Lower Boddington, Northamptonshire, NN11 6XY – there will be a sign post up from Carpenters Arms, Lower Boddington. Start time - 10.30 for 11.00a.m. start, coffee, farm walk followed by lunch.

22nd – 24th August - Herd Competition
Judge: Gethin and Envys Lloyd
This year’s competition will be judged over the course of the 22nd, 23rd and 24th August 2008 and the winners will be announced at either the Stock Show or Christmas Dinner.

There are three herd classes for the competition based on herd size

Small Herd - 10 cows and under
Medium Herd - 10 – 25 cows
Large Herd - 25 and over

We would also like to present prizes to the following

Best suckling calf born 2008
Best weaned bull up to 2 years old
Best group of in calf heifers
Best group of maiden heifers (weaned)

Please support this event and return the entry form by 16th August 2008 at the very latest.

Sunday 28th September - Stock Show at Cirencester Market
No Entry Fees! so please try to support this event.

Autumn Evening Event
Talk (speaker t.b.c.) date 13th or 20th November (t.b.c), Time 7.30 for 8.00p.m. start at Stoneleigh Park Farm Shop, (upstairs in Farmers Fayre meeting room) Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, CV8 2LZ.

Friday 12th December - Christmas Dinner
A real success last year and I think everyone that attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves. As a result the location will remain the same (March Hare, Broughton Hackett) and the date will be 2008 time 7.30 for 8.00 p.m. Please let me have numbers by November 28th at the very latest – we nearly ran out of places last year so hurry hurry!! Raffle prizes gratefully received as always.

15th January 2009 - A.G.M.
To be held in conjunction with a quiz night, 7.30 p.m. for 8.00 p.m. start at Stoneleigh Park Farm Shop (upstairs in Farmers Fayre meeting room).
