HATCH, MATCH & CELEBRATE

Joanna daughter of Lesley and David Sapsed of Heathbrow, married Philip Woodman on July 12th at Codicote Church. The reception was held at the farm and after their honeymoon in Mexico, they will be living nearby in the village, which is close enough for them to continue to help with the showing of the cattle! The wedding took place in August of Nicola Heaps and Philip King at Atlow House, Ashbourne, the home of Susan (Nicola’s Mum) and David Donnelly. The entertainment in the marquee went on into the early hours of the morning, followed by a clay pigeon shoot the next day which was enjoyed by many of the guests before Nicola and Philip went off on their honeymoon to Dubai and Mauritius. The couple have now made their home in Chorley, Lancs

Congratulations to Gavin and Gemma Doyle on their marriage and the birth of their lovely son, Dan. Ron Hodgkinson (Kimcote Herd) on his 80th Birthday surrounded by his wonderful family. He says “Simmies keep you young”.
