Simmentals continue to breed selectively to produce

Drumsleed Herd of Pedigree Simmentals was founded in
1981. Having tried several different breeds we found that
the Simmentals were the most docile, dual purpose breed for
beef production and milking ability for the commercial cow. |

You can find Twyford
Simmentals in the heart of North Norfolk, a conservation area just north
of the river Bure, Consequentially we have many water meadows,
this is where we run our suckler herds. |

The Team
Simmental Herd was formed in 1988,
with the purchase of Kirkforthar Natasha; this was shortly followed
by the introduction of further females from the Arkmill and Milnafua
Herd dispersals. |
