first Simmental in 1984, Tidkin
Simmentals continue to breed selectively to produce
quality animals suitable for the modern market place. |

The
Drumsleed Herd of Pedigree Simmentals was founded in
1981. Having tried several different breeds we found that
the Simmentals were the most docile, dual purpose breed for
beef production and milking ability for the commercial cow. |

three foundation cows, all from well known Swiss and German
bloodlines. |

You can find Twyford
Simmentals in the heart of North Norfolk, a conservation area just north
of the river Bure, Consequentially we have many water meadows,
this is where we run our suckler herds. |

The Team

by the introduction of further females from the Arkmill and Milnafua
