Description of EBVs and Indexes

The ABRI Users Group is a body set up to represent the interests of those beef cattle breeds who have chosen to adopt ABRI’s “BREEDPLAN INTERNATIONAL” as the best internet based software available worldwide for recording pedigree registrations and performance recording, and for genetic evaluation. Those breeds being Aberdeen Angus, Beef Shorthorn, Belgian Blue, Hereford, British Simmental, and South Devon.

British Simmental BREEDPLAN EBV's are compiled from pedigree records submitted to the British Simmental Cattle Society (BSCS) and performance records collected by British Simmental breeders. Every effort has been made to report information accurately on animals, but BREEDPLAN, BSCS and their staff assume no responsibility for the content or the use or interpretation of the information published.
